Memory Silks: 8"x54" hemmed silk scarf with the name written with a clear resist.  Participants will simply use color to express the memory of a loved one, friend or colleague on the silk. (No art skills are necessary, just a willingness to see the process through.)  

During a workshop for memory silks, participants come on a staggered schedule to allow Lisa to give each person individual attention.  Participants should allow an hour to paint their silk, although some finish more quickly.

Prayer Flags and Silk Meditations: 17"x17" silk twill hemmed handkerchief or 10"x10" silk hemmed handkerchief.  

This workshop is more involved because the participants will create their own design with the clear resist on the silk as well as laying down color.  The process should take two or three hours.  

After each workshop, the silks will need to be dye set after 24 hours and then dry cleaned, so they will be delivered to the laison for the group within two weeks.
